Students had to design a state of the art restaurant for a target group of their choice. They decided on the type of cuisine they wanted to serve, the style of restaurant, the location, menu items, menu style & layout, and created an advertisement. Students faced having to create a convincing plan to open a restaurant. They had to create a restaurant name, floor plan, 3D rendering, menu, and advertisement to promote it. The menu had to include healthy meal options, and cultural dishes.
Jackie’s Design was the “Jumping Rabbit Café”. Jackie chose that name because the Rabbit is a symbol of good luck. His design consisted of a restaurant that circulated food on a conveyor belt. This allowed customers to select menu items of their choice and try new things. The menu contained a mixture of Chinese and Japanese food that was nutritious and healthy. Jackie’s goal was to have restaurants all around the globe with targeted locations in highly populated areas and areas near travel spots like beaches and ski resorts. Dr. Sidorva L.
