During this four-day event, students are ranked and placed in one of the eight festival bands on the basis of an initial audition upon arrival. These bands rehearse several times with nationally recognized conductors in preparation for a final concert performance on the final afternoon of the event at the UGA Performing Arts Center. The recordings of their performances are on UGA Band's website. The students attended performances by guest high school bands and UGA music ensembles. In addition, the students attended workshops taught by UGA professors. PCHS students rank: Jack #2, Kamari #16, Jalicia #1, Alexandria #12 and Patrick #2.
