As directed by Governor Brian Kemp during a Press Conference today, Peach County Schools will remain closed for in-person instruction for the remainder of the current school year. We realize that you will have many questions and concerns regarding this unprecedented school closing. In the coming days, we will be working with State School Superintendent Richard Woods to determine our next steps. Thank you for your patience, care and concern as we continue in this uncharted territory.

Welcome to a new school year! It is truly an honor to be the new principal of Kay Road Elementary School. I along with the KRES faculty and staff are excited about “Teaming Up for Success” at KRES! This year our goal is to be intentional in our practice. This starts with developing ownership among staff and students as meaningful decisions are made to impact teaching and learning. The staff of KRES is committed to maintaining and fostering accountability by targeting instruction, monitoring data, planning, reflecting and engaging in professional learning opportunities as we embark on our quest to make the best BETTER!
Together, teachers, students, and parents/guardians make a strong Kay Road family. Your support is appreciated as your child enters the classroom and continues their journey of growth and development throughout the year. Let’s all commit to making the best better by putting our best foot forward with each opportunity that is availed to us to positively impact the lives of others.
This year our theme is “Teaming Up for Success” at KRES! I look forward to working with each of you as we “Team Up” to set a successful foundation for our students as they become college and career ready! Remember, its ALL of Us, ALL the TIME!!
