Teacher of the Month Nomination Teacher of the Month

Parents and students may nominate a teacher or staff member at Byron Middle School for Teacher of the Month or Staff Member of the Month. Students may pick up a nomination form from the BMS Media Center. Parents may print the nomination form by clicking on the link below. All completed forms may be turned in to the BMS Main Office.

BMS School Governance Team Meetings

The BMS School Governance Team Meetings will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on the following dates:


October 17, 2016        November 7, 2016         

February 6, 2017        March 6, 2017            April 3, 2017    

May 1, 2017            June 5, 2017    

These meetings are open to the general public and all members of the community are encouraged to attend.

2016 - 2017 REACH Scholars Named

Byron Middle School is proud to announce Taylor Stanley and Karla Arias as the 2016-17 REACH Scholars.  Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen (REACH) is a scholarship program designed to help students in their educational endeavors.  These students will be provided help in various areas such as academics and preparing for college throughout their eighth grade and high school years. After graduation, each student will receive a $10,000 scholarship for college in Georgia.
