American Education Week was celebrated during the week of November 13th through November 17th. Sgt. Patricia Lundy, a deputy with the Peach County Sheriff’s department participated on November 16, 2017 as a Community Leader educator for a day. Sgt. Lundy was so impressed with The Trojan Greeters that she presented each of them with book bags courtesy of the Peach County Sheriff’s Department. The Trojan Greeters are the Goodwill ambassadors for HES. Their mission is to make you feel welcomed at Hunt Elementary. Charles Jones, attorney at law, David Towns, Jr., entrepreneur & pastor & Lawrence Spurgeon were also participants as Community Leader educators for a day. All three participants did a great job & were able to capture the attention of the kids resulting in tons of questions. Kudos to all the participants.
