Hunt Elementary School

The new Hunt Elementary School was first occupied at the end of the 2009-2010 school year with Dr. Banter as principal. August 2017 begins our eighth complete school year at this new location on US Highway 341, Fort Valley, GA in Peach County with Dr. Anita Mathis as Principal , Mr. Jamal Harris as Assistant Principal and Mr. Rodrick Earl as Assistant Principal/ Facilitator. Seamless Summer Seamless Summer Logo

The Peach County School Nutrition Program is proud to announce that we will be providing meals at no cost to children during the summer as part of the USDA Seamless Summer Food Service Program. This program provides meals at no cost to any child under the age of 18. There are no income requirements.

Summer meals will be served at Peach County High School, Monday through Thursday. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. and Lunch from 11:00
a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The program will run June 4th – June 28th 2018.

For more information or to sponsor a site, please contact Matoshia Grant, CN Director or Edith Battle at 478-825-5933. Organizations wishing to sponsor a feeding site will need to review and sign the Sponsor/Site agreement located HERE

Kindergarten Roundup Kindergarten Roundup Clipart

We appreciate your interest in your child attending Peach County Schools. Our Kindergarten Registration will take place on May 3, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. at all elementary schools. All students entering kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year are required to complete the kindergarten registration process. Packets may be picked up from any elementary school in the district or the BOE.

If your child already attends Pre-K at Byron Elementary, Hunt Elementary or Kay Road Elementary you will not need to attend Kindergarten Roundup. You will receive information from the school to register your child for the upcoming year.

If you are unable to attend Kindergarten Registration, you may register your child during school hours until 3:00 p.m. daily beginning May 4, 2018.
