Meet the “Trojan Scholars” for the Month of January

The Trojan Scholar girl for January is Kacey Suddeth. Kacey is a senior at Peach County High School where she is a member of SADD, has been in FBLA, NHS and currently works at Hobby Lobby as a Customer Service Manager. She received the 2019 UGA Certificate of Merit Scholar and has been on the A+ Honor Roll throughout her school years. She is dual enrolled at Middle Georgia State University and plans to continue there after graduation.

Kacey is the daughter of Angela and Mark Suddeth. She is granddaughter of Brenda Brown, Meschal and David Suddeth. She has two older brothers, Alan and Nate and one older sister, Shay and one younger sister, Karly.

Kacey would like to share “I have always enjoyed helping others and had found an interest in nursing when taking healthcare classes in 9th and 10th grade. I’m not 100% sure on which area of nursing I want to go into yet, but I am interested in surgical nursing.”


The Trojan Scholar boy for January is Juan Barajas. Juan is a senior at Peach County High School where he is a member of the PCHS Soccer team and the Yearbook Staff. He has had perfect attendance and A+ Honor Roll. Following graduation he hopes to attend Central Georgia Technical College where he is currently Dual Enrolled.

Juan is the son of Celilia Aguilar and Jose Barajas. He is the grandson of Fidel Aguilar and Grasiela Aguilar. His brother Edgar was a PCHS graduate.

Juan would like to share that he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and family. He also likes playing soccer.
