Peach County Schools was proudly represented at the CTAE Workforce Innovation Summit on March 12 in Social Circle, Georgia. The summit brought together educators, workforce leaders, and state partners from across Georgia to discuss innovative strategies for preparing students for the future workforce.
During the event, a Peach County team led a breakout session titled “School Counselor Workforce Development Integration.” The presentation focused on ways schools can align counseling programs with workforce development initiatives to better prepare students for college and career opportunities.
The Peach County presentation team included Lara Davis, CTAE Director/Lead Counselor for Peach County Schools; Dr. Donna Milling, Assistant Principal at Peach County High School; and Jamie Jenkins, School Counselor at Peach County High School. Together, they shared best practices, strategies, and experiences that highlight the important role school counselors play in helping students explore career pathways and workforce opportunities.
By participating in events like the CTAE Workforce Innovation Summit, Peach County educators continue to collaborate with partners across the state to strengthen career pathways and support students as they prepare for life beyond high school.
Peach County Schools is proud of these educators for representing the district and sharing the innovative work happening in our schools.
