This morning, Peach County deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on HWY 49. Rather than stopping on HWY 49 as directed, the vehicle in question continued to drive and pulled into the parking lot of PCHS where the vehicle was then stopped by deputies. Deputies advised PCHS to go into a precautionary lockdown until the vehicle stop was resolved. The precautionary lockdown was brief and school quickly resumed as normal. We appreciate our partnership with local law enforcement to help our schools stay safe.
