Fort Valley Middle School received a Master of Mathematics Banner presented by State School Superintendent Richard Woods for exceptional growth in math on the Georgia Milestones and for growing the number of middle school students taking high school math.


We are kicking Red Ribbon Week off with Twin Day! Tomorrow, we are giving drugs the boot with Boot Day. Wednesday we will "lei" off drugs with Hawaiian attire. Thursday, students may dress in pink or wear a costume, but please note that masks, weapons, revealing outfits, and inflatable costumes are not allowed. We will conclude the week by rallying in red!




FVMS enjoyed a special guest speaker today! Lee Ford, a Paralympic archer, spoke to students about her dedication to archery, her travels around the world, and how she stays motivated. Her inspiring story resonated with the students and motivated everyone to build relationships and dream big.


Mrs. Coley Davis's Gifted GA Studies class completed projects on Georgia regions and early Native American culture, aligning with standards SS8G1 and SS8H1. Students showcased their work at our Fall Gifted Parent Night.


FVMS served breakfast and love this morning to our FVMS Bus Drivers in appreciation of their service to our school and students!

Our phenomenal FVMS Nutrition Staff hosted a Nutrition Coloring Contest for National Nutrition Week in which over 150 staff and students participated. The winners received a treasure chest of goodies and a free ice cream coupon!

The FVMS Rolls Into Motion Field Trip will be postponed until the second semester.
