About the Affordable Connectivity Program

The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. All students in the Peach County School District are eligible for ACP through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Program.

All households in the district are eligible for the following:

  1. Up to a $30/month discount on your internet service

  2. Up to $75/month discount for households on qualifying Tribal lands

  3. A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)

Required documents to enroll in the program

1. A letter showing proof of student’s enrollment at a Peach County Community Eligibility Provision school, provided by the school district. These letters will be sent home with your child at the beginning of April.

2. Your Social Security Number OR a digital copy of either: your driver’s license, military ID, Passport biography page, Taxpayer ID Number, or another type of Government ID

Two Steps to Enroll

  1. Go to affordableconnectivity.gov to submit an application or print a mail-in application.

  2. Contact your preferred participating provider to select an eligible plan and have the discount applied to your bill. Some providers may have an alternative application that they will ask you to complete. Eligible households must both apply for the program, and contact a participating provider to select a service plan or put your new credit towards your existing plan.

To find an ACP company in your area, use the Companies Near Me tool. You can search using your Zip code or your city and state. If you would like to see the full list of options, click on “see the list of companies in your state” underneath the search results.
