Peach County Schools inducted four (4) 8th-grade scholars into the program during a signing ceremony at the Peach County Board of Education. The scholars’ family members, school officials, and local community partners attended the celebration.
-Byron Middle School scholars receiving the scholarship award were: Angelina Edwards and Damien Mathis

REACH GA Scholars Program is the State of Georgia’s first needs-based mentorship and college scholarship program. The mission is to ensure that Georgia’s academically promising students have the academic, social, and financial support needed to graduate from high school, access college, and achieve postsecondary success.
Students who complete the program requirements will receive a scholarship of up to $10,000 ($2,500 per year maximum) to be used towards the cost of attendance at a University System of Georgia (USG), Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), or eligible private postsecondary institution.
