Dear Superintendent Dr. Davis,
On December 3rd, 2025, March 26th, 2026 (in-person), and May 19th, 2026, a team from the Georgia Department of Education met virtually and in person with Peach County Schools to conduct Economic Development Partnership (EDP) designation reviews in support of your district’s FY 26 EDP Action Plan. Peach County Schools were assessed in the following Challenge/Growth areas:
o Strengthen CTAE and key stakeholder partnerships to sustain and elevate the local workforce development ecosystem.
o Reinforce the district’s WBL program and foster stronger industry connections
Over the past three years, Peach County Schools has established itself as a key partner in local economic and workforce development through its participation in the EDP process. We commend the district’s efforts to expand and enhance CTAE programming, improve connections with industry, and build innovative opportunities that align student preparation with workforce needs.
Congratulations to Peach County Schools, your CTAE staff, local economic development stakeholders, and business and industry partners for earning the EDP designation for FY 26! The designation recognizes all the hard work and ongoing efforts to ensure Peach County Schools remains a workforce development engine for your community. Information about next steps will be shared soon.
Sincerely,
