Byron Elementary School is excited to partner with Byron Middle School for the Annual Passport Around the World event. This year the event will be hosted at Byron Middle School. This event is a great opportunity to learn about the different cultures that make up our wonderful community.

Peach County Elementary Flag-Tag Schedule
Byron Elementary School, Hunt Elementary School, and Kay Road Elementary School students will exhibit teamwork in a safe, fun, and developmental setting during Saturday morning flag-tag games. The event is led by Mr. Daniel Peavy, Hunt Elementary School Assistant Principal, with teachers serving as coaches. Please join us for the first event, Saturday, January 20th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the Peach County High School Gymnasium!
Please join us for the Junior Varsity Wheelchair Basketball game with free admission on Saturday, January 20th, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. The venue for the game has changed from Mossy Creek Middle School to Houston County High School in the New Competition Gym.
Peach County School District will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

During the August 15, 2023, Regular Board Meeting, the Peach County School Board voted to approve a RESOLUTION to continue the Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax for education (ESPLOST). Continuation of the ESPLOST will provide funds to improve safety and security, facilities, modifications/renovations, technology, and transportation.
Early Voting begins October 16, 2023, through November 3, 2023.
The Election is November 7, 2023.
